São Paolo, Brazil.—August 2008—Cadence president and CEO John Patton moderated the panel of research experts this week at the Project Management Institute’s Latin America Congress in São Paolo, Brazil. The “Complexity in Project Management and the Management of Complex Projects” panel marked the fourth in PMI’s Research Program Working Session, and conclusion to a year-long collaboration between the PMI research department and industry.
“It has been a great learning experience to participate in discussions of project complexity this year,” says Patton. “The global diversity of PMI was quite evident and the consensus points achieved about project complexity significant. I am looking forward to the coming activities surrounding The Future of Project Management.”
Other panel participants included Jose Angelo Valle, PMI Immediate Past President, Rio Chapter and current Chair of Nominating Committee, PMI (Brazil); Pablo Rojas, MBA, PMP, Project Director, UNISYS (Costa Rica); Victor Anyosa, PMP, CEO, Project Management and Business Consulting Group (Peru); and Jorge Ronaldo Moll, PhD, MBA, PMP Special Assessor of Strategic Projects in State Government (Brazil).
