Scott Lissit, PMP
Scott Lissit, PMP, is a senior program manager and trainer with more than 20 years broad experience in a variety of industries including aerospace, consulting and government services. He is adept at stand-up training, facilitation, and coaching. Most recently, he spent four years as Program Manager of a $10M program at CSM Inc. to develop and implement a new series of project management and systems engineering training courses for a large government agency. In 2003, he developed a Decision Analysis course for NASA, and has delivered it during the past three years to astronauts, flight controllers, and the Shuttle Mission Management Team. Other training experience includes delivering career transition seminars to hundreds of clients from Fortune 100 companies while a Vice President at Lee Hecht Harrison.
After beginning his career as a systems engineer at TRW, Inc. (now part of Northrop Grumman), he held management, analyst and consulting positions at Schafer Corporation, the National Technology Transfer Center, and IDEV (a website development company). In addition, Mr. Lissit has been a certified executive coach and independent consultant, working in leadership development areas with clients from small to large companies. Mr. Lissit has a Master of Science degree in engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and Tau Beta Pi. His interests include astronomy, travel, hiking and meditation.
